Braedale Goldwyn wasn’t just any Holstein bull—he was a legend with hooves. Goldwyn quickly moved his way to the top of the Holstein world. Bred by Braedale Farms in 2000 and promoted by Semex in Kemptville, Ontario, this handsome fellow became a global superstar in the dairy industry.
What made Goldwyn special? Well, his daughters were basically the supermodels of the cow world—long, elegant, with sky-high udders and perfect posture. He sired champions left and right, with his offspring dominating the show rings at the World Dairy Expo, the Royal Winter Fair, and beyond.
Goldwyn wasn’t just about good looks, though. He passed on serious dairy strength and performance, making him a favorite for breeders who wanted cows that could work and wow. Though he passed away in 2008, Goldwyn’s legacy lives on in thousands of fabulous daughters and granddaughters. In the world of Holsteins, he's the bull that keeps on giving—and he’ll always be remembered as being the "King of the Ring" and leaving a legacy smoother than aged whisky.
